World Environment Day Celebration
On 5th June 2025, Roots Group of Companies celebrated World Environment Day across all its locations, highlighting this year’s theme: “Ending Plastic Pollution.” The initiative focused on the five R’s—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink—to encourage mindful plastic usage.
The day began with the display of awareness banners and an environmental pledge taken by all employees. A sapling plantation drive was conducted within the premises to promote green cover.
To reinforce our commitment to sustainability, saplings and reusable cotton bags were distributed to employees and the public. These activities reflected the group’s ongoing dedication to environmental responsibility and creating a cleaner future.
